Privacy Policy
AutoSyn Group Pty Ltd ("AutoSyn Group", "we", "us") provides recruitment and labour hire services in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information, including information you send us through our Facebook Pages and Facebook Messenger. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
1. What we collect
- Job applications and enquiries: your name, phone number, email address, location, work history, licences and tickets, resume, and anything else you choose to send us.
- Facebook Messenger messages sent to our Facebook Pages (for example "AutoSyn Group" and "Sydney Hiring Hub"): the text of your message, the type of any attachment (for example "image" or "file"), the time it was sent, and the Page-scoped ID Facebook assigns to your conversation with our Page. We do not collect your Facebook password, friends list, posts or profile details beyond what Facebook includes with the message.
2. Why we collect it
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, assess your suitability for jobs, contact you about work opportunities, and meet our legal obligations as an employer and labour hire provider. We do not use Messenger messages for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
3. How messages reach us
Messages you send to our Facebook Pages are delivered by Meta Platforms to our internal recruitment system. While we set up our direct connection, messages may be passed through Make.com (Celonis Inc.), an integration service that forwards each message to our system and does not use it for any other purpose.
4. Where it is stored and who can see it
Information is stored in our internal recruitment system, hosted by Supabase in the Sydney (Australia) region. Only authorised AutoSyn Group recruitment staff can access it, using individual logins. We use service providers (such as hosting, email and SMS providers) only to operate our recruitment services, and they may process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations.
5. Disclosure
With your consent, we may share your application details with an employer or host client you are being considered for. Otherwise we only disclose personal information where the law requires or permits it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as it is needed for recruitment purposes or to meet legal record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see section 8).
7. Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below.
8. Deleting your data
To have your Messenger messages and any other information deleted, follow the steps on our Data Deletion Instructions page. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
